Join your neighbors for the annual Barnum Block Party. This year it will be located at the Barnum Community Garden. There's something for everyone!

Do you know your way around Weir Gulch?

With the help of a mini-grant from Walk Denver and Denver Department of Environmental Health, Barnum was one of three neighborhoods in Denver to receive a way-finding mini-grant last summer. With this grant, we are getting 10 decals made (see picture) of a super cool map of Barnum detailing where the Weir Gulch goes (Special thanks to Newton Street's Tiffany H for her great design skills!). 

We will be installing the decals in May, so please watch for a volunteer opportunity around it. Go, Barnum!

Your neighborhood organization - Concerned Citizens for Barnum meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6pm at Barnum Recreation Center. Join us!

Next meeting is Tuesday, March 14th.

2nd Annual Barnum Community Coffee

Join your neighbors for Barnum's 2nd Annual Community Coffee and learn how to "Be a Smart Ash" by learning about how to get free or discounted trees for your yard and tree lawn.

Coffee donated by our local Starbucks. Treats donated by CCB volunteers.

Walkability Survey

The Barnum and Barnum West neighborhoods recently won a mini-grant from the Denver Department of Environmental Health for a neighborhood walkability project. The grant will pay for wayfinding signs (decals and stencils on the sidewalk) that will help people use the Weir Gulch Trail to access neighborhood destinations.

The purpose of this survey is to get input on the design and location of the wayfinding signs. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Please complete the survey by Friday, September 23.
